Why Squirrels are Crazy!

No I'm not planning on starting a theme. But seriously, squirrels have been acting weird lately.

Yesterday, I was sitting on my bed, and saw a quirrel out my window, balancing on a hedgy bush (or maybe it was a bushy hedge?) playing with a leaf. No, it wasn't eating the leaf, it was just playing with it. It was a pretty funny looking thing. I'd almost say it was the funniest thing I've ever seen a squirrel do, but I'm not sure that's true.

A couple months ago, my brother and I were eating breakfast at the Marshside restuarant in Dennis, and saw a squirrel outside the window, hanging upside down, trying to get bird seed from a feeder. I guess this makes more sense than playing with a leaf, but I think it was funnier.

Ok, and TODAY, a squirrel actually attacked my housemate Mallory while she was on her way to our Physiology test. It climbed up her leg and scurried away, or something. I kinda felt bad for her, because she was called out of the test to give a statement to animal control people. That sucks.

And just one more addition to the "Squirrels are Crazy" entry: Hammy from "Over the Hedge." Best part of the movie, see it for Hammy.

PS: Yes, and I must update the fact that Brynne has now checked in to read my blog three times! Not just one or two.

the black squirrels in amherst used to hang out in trees and throw acorns at people as they walked up the hills to the dorms. they were evil ninja squirrels, and it is my belief that they were responsible for the depleting swan population on the umass campus.
