Productivity
Settling in to my first week of classes quite nicely. Only stressing every once in a while. Only getting mad at Internet book purchasing sites that don't seem to want to work, and professors who will only post his lecture slides two days AFTER the lecture so that its impossible to print them out ahead of time and take notes on the hard copy. But other than those two things, things are going well.
Today I was very productive with my reading assignments, and being so productive inspired me to be productive with my blog...which I rarely am.
Saturday I got to spend the early afternoon with my afternoon delight...the lovely Hayley. I love Hayley. We got cold drinks at some place in Davis Square, and then shopped for low price DVD's and smelly books.
Labor Day, last day of freedom before our classes started. Three housemates and I went on an adventure to Cambridge to walk around Harvard Square, my first official T ride since moving in. We went around to a few cute stores, including the Curious George Store
(not what its really called, but something like that) where they had these lovely Hogwarts banners that I just had to take a picture of. The highlight of the afternoon was definately sitting on the low-priced futon at the Coop (the Harvard University Bookstore), because we were le tired. Here are Mallory, myself, and Serena in the futon, specially priced at $104!

That night, I got to hang out with Hayley AGAIN...Jake can come too. We went to the Burron in Davis. A nice little Irish Pub with real Irish bartenders and real live Irish music. Very cozy and fun.
Classes started...bla bla bla...syllabi, books, midterms, finals, hello I'm professor bla bla bla. No just kidding. All of my professors are really nice, and all but one have teaching styles condusive to my learning style. I'll just have to flex in that class. Hey, I'm a grad student now; I can do it.
Last night, me and the housies went to a Bar-be-que. Nothing like a balanced meal. Pork, beef, and poultry. Oh and beer. Hehe, yeah they were totally giving out free wine and beer. Ahhh grad school life.
Trey and I took pictures of each other at the same time. Brian's behind him.
Mal, Serena, and me at the cookout.
Almost half of McCollester house. (left to right, Brian, Mal, Serena, Trey, and Me)
Brian and Megan.

The gang posing for a group picture. I wasn't ready...I'm not trying to be weird. (back to front, left to right: Megan, Trey, Brian, Serena, Mallory, Myra, Me)
PEACE!
