Money Stress and Karaoke Break

All afternoon I've been stressing about money. This is one of my favorite pasttimes. Well, at least, its a pasttime I'm extrememly good at anyway. I've been looking at apartments in Boston to live in with my dude-buddy Lauren, thinking about Grad School tuition, thinking about not being able to get a part-time job (says Tufts people..."It will be too hard to deal with.") but probably getting one anyway, and what should come along but another email about how I have to spend more money. Mind you, its on something fun, but its a LOT of money for a few hours of fun. (Important side note: I don't like being the person who has to bitch, whine, and moan about money, but the email came with extremely bad timing.)

So after sitting down with my mother to discuss my finances, we decided to check online the status of my FASFA, which we got a postcard reguarding its processing a couple months ago, only to find out that I have no FAFSA file. So...that's fun.

Anyways, for the next couple hours I'm going to look online for grants and scholarships while I unhealthily imagine the next few years of my life passing me by while my friends are all living their fabulous, working-girl lives, and I'm a poor student again (Another sidenote: I know I'm overreacting and no one will have it as good as I imagine, but again...I'm just in a mood).

Tonight, I'm going to kick back and let go of my worries at the Chatham Squire for karaoke night with Abby and Brielle, and possibly meet up with Storm.
