Fred the Spider

We have a really big, scary spider taking up permanent residence outside the window in our stairwell. I understand that the spider will not hurt me, and that he is good for the environment and all that, but he is still very scary. He makes me nervous. As long as he stays outside, we'll be cool, but if he comes in, I'll have to move out immediately. I don't even like normal spiders, but most of the time I can deal. Fred, as we call him, he's not normal. He's very very very big, and very very very scary. And that's all I have to say about that.

well, you know ryan and my policy on spiders; they're welcome because they keep all the other bugs away.

if one's really big and freaky, it helps me to look up what kind of spider it is and how harmless it actually is, then i feel better about having the spider around.

ah, and then if you find out it eats children or something, you can get rid of it.

fred looks pretty harmless though. and you might have considered calling it freddaline since it's got that big web, it's probably a she and not a he.
